The 2010 World Cup was the biggest sporting event in the world in 2010 and took place from June 11th through to July 11th, 2010 in South Africa. The 2010 World Cup was the 19th time the premier soccer tournament was held and the event itself is held every four years.
Spain defeated the Netherlands 1-0 to win the 2010 World Cup for the first time.
