Sydney's premier track which is very spacious and gives all horses a chance. It has an uphill run to the winning post which sorts out the contenders from the pretenders. It is home to one of Australia's toughest 1600m events the Doncaster Hcp.
Randwick is the largest track in Sydney with a 2,224 metre circumference and 401 metre straight. The inner Kensington track which races midweek is 2,100 metres around with a straight length of 401 metres.

The track itself offers a very good turf surface which has good drainage and can handle all types of weather conditions quite comfortably
Rosehill is home to the Golden Slipper which is the Sydney Turf Club's major race of the year and with its 408 metre long straight gives all horses a chance to win. Much like Randwick, the turf course always presents well for racing and can handle any adverse weather conditions.

Constant sweeping turns with a long straight that gives every chance to horses either in front or behind. It is somewhat of a specialist track and home to the 2yo dash for cash the Golden Slipper.
Warwick Farm is somewhat of a specialists track and suits front runners because of its sharp turns and short straight of 326 metres. Horses drawn on the inside have an advantaage and those horses who prefer to come from well back are not really suited here.
The Chipping Norton Stakes is the major race held here annually.

Warwick Farm does not handle wet conditions that well and provides an inferior surface when wet.
Canterbury is a smallish, tight track with a circumference of of only 1,517 metres that definitely favours front runners or horses racing on the pace. The course is mainly used for Sydney night racing or midweek racing nowadays.
